Truth be told: Part 2

This chapter begins excatly where the chapter before ended. Excuse all typos & enjoy!

Those words hit Drake like he was standing in front of a train. BOOM.
He heard her words loud and clear, he just didn't know how to react. Nicki released her hand from Safaree's as she stared into Drake's eyes trying to get a reaction of what he was thinking. Nothing, she got nothing. Safaree knew that Drake probaly wanted to speak to Nicki alone, he grabbed his phone and jacket to leave the condo, giving them alone time. He told Nic earlier in the night that if it got awkward he was going to leave, so she understood. She knew Safaree hate being put in those positions.
Safaree stood up and turned to Nicki.
Safaree: "BC-2 wanted me to come over to visit him while he's in town. So I'm gonna go to his place for a few hours. I'll call you a little later, bye Nic."
Nicki: "Ok have fun baby."
The room became awkward when she said the word "baby." She forgot that Drake was still sitting there listening to everything. Safaree started to head for the door, but he turned and spoke to Drake before walking out.
Safaree: "We fam, always."
Drake turned around and looked into Safaree's eyes.
Drake: "Always man, take care."
Safaree smiled at his reaction then winked at Nic as he walked out, locking the door behind him. Nicki and Drake sat at two seperate ends of the couch, completely silent. A flashback popped into Drake's head:

"And the winner for the best video collab is........NICKI MINAJ AND DRAKE, MOMENT 4 LIFE."
The crowd went wild when Nicki and Drake stood up and hugged eachother. She hugged SB and Lil Wayne then made her way to the stage with Drake behind her. Once she grabbed the award, Nicki spoke first.
"Wow...I never know what to say at these things, because it still hasn't hit me how honored and blessed I am. I love my team, I love my family, I love my barbz, I love everyone who told me I can, and I love everyone who has told me I can't..because every word has gotten me where I am. Thank you to EVERYONE for EVERYTHING. I am honored..I can't even begin with names because I would be here all night *chuckles* This is my moment 4 life. MWAH." The crowd went wild. Drake grabbed Nicki's hand which made them scream even louder. He went to speak after Nicki.
"I am blessed I got to make this song with such a beautiful person. And the fact that we won a VMA for it makes me even more blessed. I just want to thank my team, my family, and every single one of my AMAZING supporters. Love you all!! YMCMB. Oh and Nicki..." he turned straight at her and looked her in the eyes on stage. Everyone was silent waiting for what was going it to happen. "Tonight, it's happening sooner than later." Nicki's eyes grew large with shock and excitment and he reached in and kissed her on stage. He picked her up as they waved to everyone and walked on stage. The crowd was going WILD. The host couldn't even speak or calm them down. SB's smile was HUGE, he was the only one that really knew what was going on and he was more than happy. Once they sat back in their seats, Nicki was too shy to speak or even look up because she knew everyone was staring. Drake leaned over and whispered "I love you." in her ear.

The memory replayed in Drake's mind as tears streamed down his face. Nicki still sat there silently waiting for something to say or waiting for Drake to speak. Drake stood up and began heading for this door. This made Nicki's heart race. She didn't want things to end like this.
"Wait." she said. Finally breaking the silence. Drake turned around, waiting for Nicki to continue.
"Can you just sit....please?" Nicki's voice was cracking, and Drake knew that meant she was going to cry. He sat back on the couch so Nicki wouldn't cry.
"Is it becuse we lost our baby?" he asked. Nicki looked up at him confused and in shock. "What?" she replied. "Are you moving on from me...because we lost our baby?" Drake wiped his tears and watched Nicki as she walked over to the couch she was sitting on and moved next to him. She gently finished wiping the tears from his face. "Of course not Drake." she looked down and began wiping her own tears. When she thought about to, she really had NO reason who she gave up on Drake, she doesn't even know if she's really over him...she just knew that Safaree was always there with her and that's who made her happy.
"What is it? What did I do then?" Drake asked. Nicki didn't know what to reply because Drake did nothing wrong. The fact that he asked that question changed everything, it confused her. She was so sure that SB was the one for her..but now her mind was clouded with guilt and confusion. She broke down.
"I don't know Drake. I don't know."
Drake couldn't sit there any longer and listen to Nicki give him mixed signs. He grabbed his things and began walking out, Nicki chased behind him.
"Drake I really don't know, just stop please" she was crying and pulling his arm. He opened the door and turned to her as she slammed into his chest crying.
"I'm not mad Nicki. If you don't remeber, I was the one who fucked up this relationship in the first place, I understand. I just think we are both confused right now, especially you. I know what I want, and it's to be with you. But you on the other hand..You don't know what you want. And I don't want to pressure you into making a decision right now. I can see it in your eyes Nic, your confused. I just want you to think about it, call me when you have your mind is clear and we can talk it through. I love you, okay?" he kissed Nicki on the forehead and walked to his car. Nicki stook at the front door watching him leave. She gave him a wave as he drove off. She closed the door and walked into the condo, she picked up her phone and texted Safaree. "Come home soon please." She just wanted to clear her mind and she didn't want to be alone. "Already on my way, be there in 10." he replied. Little did she know, he had been thinking about the situation the whole time, Safaree wasn't okay with the way things were going, he thought about it, and made a tough decision.
He walked in the condo to see Nicki on her phone still crying. This made his heart hurt, but he still made a decision that he was going to follow through with.
"Nic I need to talk to you." He said. They both knew this didn't sound good....

Yes I did, yes I did, I left you guys hanging again, mwahaha! I am trying to see if the story will be continue to be Onikafaree or Dricki by all the comments I get, but it's an equal amount for both so I can't decide!!
