For every "Goodbye" is a new "Hello."

Excuse any of the typos you guys may find, I try to revise the story as much as possible but I am a very fast typer. Anyways, ENJOY! :)

The next morning, Nicki paid no attention to the fight that happened last night. She didn't even let the thought cross her mind. She was too busy worrying about the missed phone call and tweet  she recieved last night from Jay, the first man Nicki ever loved..and the first man that ever broke her heart.
She ran into Safaree's room to tell him the news, but he already knew.
Nicki: "SAFAREEE DID YOU SEE.."
SB but Nicki off.
Safaree: "The tweet and missed call from Jay? Yes I did. I don't want you seeing that man Nicki. Not after what he put you through, that isn't happening again."
Nicki: "Safaree, he's not going to get to me like he used to. He was my first love, and I am going to see him. I already called him back, we are getting lunch so I am going to get ready."
SB knew there was nothing he could do, if Nicki wanted to see Jay, she was going to do it and there was nothing SB could do/say to stop her. Before she left on her date, SB warned her about all past..."I just want you to remeber the way he treated you. The way he would walk out, leaving you to cry, the way he verbally put you down..always reminding you that you were never good enough for him. He made your life hell for months after he left you Nicki. Don't put trust into someone that walked away from you. He could be using you for your sucess, just be careful." SB said. Nicki kissed him on the cheek and replied "I remeber" as she left the condo.
Nicki pulled up to a yummy Cafe in LA where she was planning on meeting him. She was applying her lipstick as she saw Jay from the corner of her eye, waiting outside of her car. She immadiately smiled as she jumped out of the car on top of him. Their connection was strong. They weren't through the good and bad together, they truly loved eachother, and it soon faded away..but the friendship they shared never died. Nicki loved how Jay was not star-struck at all when being with Nicki. He was excatly how he was from when Nicki last saw him back in Queens a few years back and she loved that. They had an amazing lunch together and caught up on all the old memories, Nicki forgot how much they shared together, and all her feelings started to come back after every day she spent with him since that lunch. They became closer and closer, and although SB wasn't happy with it, it was the happiest he had seen Nicki in quite a while, so he had to deal.
About 2 weeks later, Nicki and Safaree were headed to the doctor's office. Nicki had been complaining about her stomach for about 2 and a half months now, but she never had the time to see a doctor. She occisonally threw up and she was quite moody, but SB just thought it was from all the stress. Once they got to the doctor's, Nicki did a couple tests for her stomach..one of the tests being to pee in a cup. About 10 minutes later, the doctor walked in and looked at Nicki.
"I found out what is bothering your tummy Ms.Maraj."
Nicki jumped up. "WHAT IS IT?" she said, eager to know why she's been having these pains.
"Your 3 months pregnant. Congrats!"
The room became silent. Nicki looked at SB with  distraught look on her face and SB in full shock.
"How is that even possible? Are you sure? Can we run more tests?" she asked while starting to tear up.
Doctor: "I've done all the tests I can do, your absoutely pregnant. You had no idea?"
Nicki: "I just thought it was from stress. I mean I always have stomach aches and pains so I was used to it. I've only thrown up a few times..I just didn't think much of it..but I have had acohol in the past 3 months a few times..will that affect anything?"
Doctor: "It may Nicki. You need to start taking things slow and not stress yourself out. I am going to give you a few minutes to talk with Safaree while I go write down your new diet and how you should be handling things."
Nicki: "Thank you."
The doctor left the room, and the tears streamed down Nicki's face. SB scooted her over and sat next to her.
"Drake." Nicki said.
It couldn't have been Jay who got Nicki pregnant, because he had only been back in Nicki's life for about a month and a half now, plus, Nicki only had sex with him once and he wore a condom. 3 months and a half months ago was the last time Nicki had sex with Drake, and that was the only man she was seeing.
Safaree: "Did the boy not use a condom?"
Nicki: "It must have broke. It's him forshure. I was only seeing Drake 3 months ago."
Nicki picked up her phone and texted Drake for the first time since the fight at Wayne's house. "I need to come over right now Drake." she started to grab her things to leave as the doctor walked back in, giving her a list of things to eat and ways to not stress out.
"You will need this. I know you have had alcohol and stressed out in the past 3 months so I need to see you every two weeks and make sure the baby is okay." The doctor said.
"I will be here." Nicki replied, she hugged the doctor and grabbed SB's hand as she walked out. She got in the car and started driving.
"Where are we going?" Safaree asked.
"I have to go say goodbye to Jay. The first thing on this list says to end any sexual relationships I am having with anyone besides the father, it's stressful and unhealthy. I'll drop you off at home if you want Safaree." Nicki said while starting to tear up.
"No way. I am staying with you. I will wait in the car while you talk to Jay, and I will drive." Safaree rubbed Nicki's back as she pulled up to the apartment Jay was currently staying at until he had to fly back to Queens in the next few weeks.
Nicki knocked on the door and Jay let her in, he could tell something was going on.
Nicki: "I came here...to...."
Nicki immadiately started to cry. Jay held her in his arms while they say on the couch.
Jay: "It's okay babygirl, just say what's going on."
Nicki: "This is my goodbye to you. I am 3 months pregnant by somebody else and I had no idea until today. I can't be with you, it's unhealthy. And I can't keep seeing you everyday like I have been for this past month, I have to let go of all the feelings I have held towards you. This is my goodbye."
The conversastion went on for about 15 more minutes, Jay completely understood and did everything to make Nicki feel better, they agreed that they could Video Call eachother once a month and he would see Nicki whenever she was in town, or he was in town. He simply kissed her on the cheek as he watched the woman that he love fade off in the distance. And she wiped her tears as she walked away from the first man she loved.
Once she got in the car with Safaree, her phone lit up. It was Drake. "Just got home..come over." Safaree then drove Nicki to Drake's house as she held her stomach because she was feeling sharp pains, and she knew it was from the stress on her pregnancy. "Safaree I will text you when I am ready to be picked up, this may take a little longer." She closed the door and blew Safaree a kiss as she whispered "Thank you bestfriend" out of her mouth. He knew excatly what she said, he smiled and drove off as Nicki walked into Drakes.
Nicki: "Hi."
Drake flew up as he ran to her and hugged her, he missed her so much and felt so incomplete. Seeing Nicki brought him to tears, and seeing Drake brought her to tears.
They both made theirselves comfortable on the couch and Drake brought out ice-cold waters with cranberries and almonds for Nicki, her favorite snack. They caught up and Nicki told Drake all about Jay, being completely honest. And Drake told Nicki that he had been sober since Wayne's party, and he will continue being sober for her. But now it was time to explain why she was really there.
Drake: "Okay so I know you didn't just come here to catch up with me..what's going on?"
Nicki: "Drake...this hasn't been easy for me to come to relazation too..."
Nicki started to tear up and cry as Drake anxiously waited for her to continue as he grasped her hand.
Nicki: "3 months ago was the last time I had sex with you."
Drake had a confused look on his face. He wasn't understandind the purpose of the statement.
Drake: "Okay? And?"
Nicki: "I'm 3 months pregnant."
The room stood still. Nicki was unable to read Drake's reaction, she started to cry more.
Drake finally spoke. "That's beautiful, I am blessed to be apart of something so beautiful."
Nicki and Drake threw eachother in their arms and started to cry with eachother, they were both scared but blessed. Nicki talked to Drake about how the stress and alchol from previously may affect the child and her pegnancy. They made a schedule to go to the doctor's toghether every 2 weeks and Drake wrote down some recipies he suggest for Nicki. If they were going to do this..they were doing it toghether. As a couple or not. Once Safaree picked Nicki up and went home, she laid in bed and thought about her new lifestyle. Everything was about to change...and it's not the way she is expecting.
